Hey guys, I'm back! I've been gone for quite some time due to several projects I've been working on, but now I've found more time to blog about fashion. I'm going to be the hairstylist for a large charity even in the upcomming months and I'm looking forward to that. It's uncompensated, so I'm going to ask that the girls bring their own hairsprays, combs, and brushes.
Anyway, I should have something new to report tomorrow, I hope!

There's boots out there that can go with just about any outfit out there. Some people see ankle boots as an abomination that should never come back in style, but they seem to come and go quite often these days. One season they're in, the next season they're out. These beautiful black lace ankle boots from good 'ol D&G would go beautifully with a semi-formal or formal outfit. They'd go wonderful paired with leggings, a chiffon dress, and matching lace purse for example. Quite the slimming look.
Quite similar to the pair above, but they're not as transparent as they're more leather based. This style comes in multiple colors (such as black, white, and tan). I can see the white being paired with certain styles of wedding gowns.
I was kind of surprised to see that the peep-toe boots are still in style and while I'm usually not a fan of this style shoe, these are quite pretty. Sadly, they don't come in larger sizes (like a US size 11) so I will not be buying a pair. It makes me quite angry that the majority of fashion designers neglect the "plus sized" shoe industry and when they do acknowledge it, the shoes aren't exactly stylish, come in many colors, or visually appealing. I really wish more designers would realize this as there is money to be made.

Aside from the ugliness of Crocs, nothing bugs me more then women who use leggings as pants. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this looks both skanky and stupid, but leggings were not meant to be worn like this. Ladies, no one wants to see your panties ('cept for men looking for an easy girl). Wearing leggings as pants don't make you look sexy, it just makes you look downright trashy. It's only short of wearing a pair of pantyhose and nothing else to cover the lower region of your body. Wearing them as pants also makes your hips and thighs look quite large.
This is an example of leggings worn the correct way--under a dress, skirt, or long tunic. Leggings are meant to add a bit of modesty to an otherwise short dress. In addition to that, they make your legs look quite smooth while adding a little something to your ensemble. Notice how wearing black leggings the correct way makes this woman's legs look slimmer; this is what you want your leggings to do. The right pair of shoes also help (ankle boots, below the knee boots, and pumps). Wearing them with flats also works, but it really depends on the outfit.
So ladies... please don't wear leggings as pants! It makes you look trashy and it's an eyesore all together.

But still, the hair does look good and suits his face quite well. I think he and his stylist made a great choice with this cut--he was long overdue for one.
