Cosmetic review: Forever Flawless diamond powder facial treatments

Several months ago, I went to Primm, Nevada for a little "stay-cation" as it were.  Inside the shopping mall housed by one of the 3 Primm Valley casinos, there's this kiosk selling products by the brand "Forever Flawless."  The salesman was trying to sell it to me for an extortionate price of $179 (before tax) claiming that this was a deal since it goes for $300 elsewhere.  I pretty much said, "Yeah, no" then proceeded to talk into the Coach store.  I walked back out and the salesman tried making another pitch to me.  I told him flat out that I couldn't afford to pay that much money for some product that I never heard of.  I was very firm about this.  He lowered the price down to $50 and I decided to go on and buy it although that's still pretty high for a product I've never heard of.

Forever Flawless is advertised as being a luxury brand of beauty products that contain diamond powder and 24K gold.  They also contain botanicals and multivitamins that are supposed to be good for your skin.  They claim that the gold and diamond powder that this stuff contains is supposed to fight against aging but time will only tell.  Worst thing about this stuff is that it has no satisfaction guarantee which should be a huge red flag not to buy this shit.  I didn't find this out until a while after I bought this and did an internet search.

Now, the guy selling this pot of diamond infused gelatin to me said it'd help do things like get rid of acne, unclog pores, and eliminate blackheads.  I guess I ended up being a sucker since I was quite depressed and ended up buying it.  I wanted to improve my skin's condition so I was a pretty easy sale.  Ugh.  Let me tell you this right now... this product is shit.  SHIT.  SHIT!  I'm not even kidding here.  I bought this in hopes of it being able to cleanse my skin by peeling away all the icky dead skin cells.  It does an extremely piss poor job.

I used this stuff for about a month and saw no difference in my acne as I was still getting breakouts.  Wasn't this stuff supposed to help unclog my pores?  This stuff can't unclog a stuffed nose.  The quality of this product is pretty terrible.  It takes at least 2 uses back to back within minutes to get the dead skin off my face.  The directions on the website give you these instructions: "Over clean skin, massage in circular motions until desired exfoliation is achieved. Rinse with warm water. Use 1-2 times a week."  Either way, I don't think they meant having to use it twice in one sitting once a week.  It didn't get all the dead skin on my face so I deem this stuff to be a waste of my $50.  There's probably a reason why many people have not heard of this brand and it's probably because it's not FDA approved.  Not to mention that this crap burned my face.  There's nothing more attractive than glaring rashes on your face, am I right?  It's very much a scam.

If you're looking for a product that will buff away all your dead skin cells, help reduce the dark marks on your face, and reverse aging?  Get yourself a good microdermabrasion kit such as Susan Lucci's "Youthful Essence."  It's only $60 and the 3 month supply of refills only cost you $30.  Not only does it work, it costs a lot less than this Forever Flawless scam shit!

August 13th, 2013--UPDATE:  If you would like to read my follow-up to this, including my scientific explanation behind why these lousy products don't work, click here to see the blog entry.

Because basic reading comprehension doesn't work for everyone, let me paraphrase this entry in a few sentences.  Sellers pull people aside to make a super pushy sale, LIE TO PEOPLE SAYING IT'LL HELP TREAT THEIR ACNE JUST TO GET THEIR MONEY.  Long story short, if the sales people had actually you know... been honest with people, I'm 100% sure that no one would've bought this hoping it'd treat their skin conditions.  And if a product is so fucking good then why in the HELL do the sales people feel the need to lie about it!?

Edit: January 12th, 2014--UPDATE: Thanks to two very informed readers in the comments, I have more information to share with you all:

  • Use this website to report any illegal business (such as Forever Flawless).  Forever Flawless uses illegal undocumented Isralei workers to push their products.  These people are paid under the table and their lodging is taken out of their earnings which is highly illegal.  REPORT THEM.
  • If you're concerned about safe cosmetics, check this out as it's a very good read.  Highly recommended!
  • Most importantly, check this site out.  It's a very informative page about nanomedicine and why diamond powder is dangerous!  It furthers my theory that Forever Flawless lies about what goes into their products and explains to you why using diamond powder will do more harm than good to your body.
Edit: September 8th, 2014

A reader has informed me that a TV program in the Netherlands ran a segment exposing the Forever Flawless scam!  These guys are still at it which is appalling.  If you'd like to read it, check it out here.  There is also a video, but you need to understand Dutch.  The link has the English interview though!

    1. Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean the product is "shit" as you call it. Otherwise why is it so big? Whu do so many people in tge world buy it? People keep going back and buying products!

    2. @lissa Maybe we call it a scam because... it is one? You sound awfully defensive about this garbage product. It's not even a big product and the only people who claim it is are the lying assholes that push it onto people. Call me suspicious but...

    3. im just reading up for my girlfriend who got snagged yesterday in westfield, London. I have to say it's the hard sales I don't like- I used to work for a boiler room type-company so I thought I knew about sales techniques but I have to say the girl seller was so nice I actually bought into her and forgot about the product and the awful parlour tricks they use to make you believe the product is legit- I think my guard was down as well because it was in a decent mall that doesn't normally allow any shit shops to trade so I kinda didn't believe that you would be peddled any BS there. I have a feeling the positive comments for this brand come from either current employees (all are from anonoymous users lol!) or people who have been scammed and are in denial about it because they don't want to admit that some smug little douche got the better of them with pushy tactics. Make no mistake how and what they are selling is barely on the fringes of legality and would explain why they are constantly changing their brand name and product (do a bit of research- they were previously Oro Gold and ISOD ltd- as is the case in this business they set up a limited company that is easy to liquidate and start up under another name when too many people clock it is a scam and the word gets out) just make sure no body else gets scammed. on the final note it is lucky the person who sold it to my mrs is a female otherwise i'd be going back there and knocking that prick spark out..... then getting my money back :)

IT'S A BIG SCAM!!! THE PRODUCT IS WORTH NOTHING YOU ARE BETTER OFF BUYING WALMART BRAND..UPSET AND UGLY WITH THIS COMPANY!! THE SAD PART IS I SHOULD OF LOOKED THIS PRODUCT UP ON THE INTERNET FOR REVIEW BEFORE GETTING SCAMMED ANY WAY HARD LESSON LEARNED..IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN..

    5. I am 50 years old and was totally pushed and scammed and bought $500 of this product because I was brain washed and coerced. I can't afford it and they won't refund the money. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

  2. I agree! I was fooled into buying the moisturizer too and it was not discounted! I also bought it for acne and used it regularly for two months and I see no results. For the price I paid my skin should be flawless. I agree 100% this product is a piece of shit!!!!!!

  3. The guy who showed me the peeling product(on my hand)asked me $150.00. When I said "no", he added the cleanser and the moisturizer for the same price and I decided to buy. It is true that the peeling is no better that any cheap brand, but the cleanser and the moisturizer are better than any other I tried before (including Lauder, Lancome, E Arden, etc). My skin feels dewy, not dry or oily. It feels good the minute you apply it and the make-up looks better. The problem is the price and the way they approach the people to try it. They should give free samples and then wait for the people who like it.

  5. I am so glad I found this post. I was also lured in by the salesman, but I didn't even have that much cash on me so I eventually escaped his clutches. I considered it, but decided to Google reviews and talked to my esthetician friend. You both confirmed it, it's a scam! I am so glad I didn't pay $175 on these products! That's too much money to spend when there is no money back guarantee! Plus... it broke you out! No thanks!

  6. Well I bought the whole shabang....and I LOVE it! In no way does it claim to clear up acne. and any one with acne should know the ingredients in most acne products which this product does not have. I use my acne wash as usual and do the peel once a week. and the serum and moisturizer IS by far the best I have ever used. I see and feel the differences in my skin since I have started using this product, about 1 month now. I have people who know me whom I haven't seen in a while (including the tellers at my bank) and their like wow val you look great! I say that alone speaks for forever flawless. Is it expensive? OH hell ya! Cost me a total of $800. for every thing including the boy scrub and cream. I say go for it and yes when you tell the seller you can't afford what ever their asking for the most part they will drop the price down!

Hello and thanks for *not* reading. My blog entry CLEARLY states that the sales person told me that it would help clear up acne in which was a big lie. If you're fine with paying $800 for this stuff, yay?

    2. I bought the cleanser and the peel and I've been using the peel since september and I really like it. I use a scrub the rest of the week and the peel once a week-ish. But the person I bought it from wasn't pushy and the price was great... I think I might have paid about $120 for 2 cleansers and 2 peels. It may have been a little bit more, but nothing close to $200. I haven't used the cleanser yet because I'm trying to use up my old one, but I came across this blog because I'm looking to buy more. But I can't believe the price on line! I think the price is my only complaint.

    3. My mother in law just bought this stuff for $400. I call bullsh*t and searched and found your blog. I also read another blog of a person who tests products for a living and they were a no go too. But maybe I'm just too frugal? Their website says $5K yes, $5K for some the full package. For that price I will go get collagen shots from the dermatologist, as well as the products sold in their office, bot some starnge fly by night kiosk place. Sheesh people. ;p

  7. I just came across a very aggressive woman selling the stuff on a visit to Singapore. Had second thoughts when she kept pushing the deep cleanser and the moisturizer and kept reducing the price. Thought I'' check the wen before buying and thank God I did. Thank you girls.

  8. Hello, this afternoon I was approached by one of these pesty salesman at the mall. He was trying to sell me a mask for $2500, I knew it was bs. Anyway, I told him I use honey and it has been the only thing that has ever worked for my acne and it only cost me $5. He argued with me and said there was no way, his stuff was the only thing guaranteed, blah blah blah! Try using a honey mask for your acne, I have hyperthyroidism as well as pcos, which are the reasons for hormonal cystic acne. I tried everything from the over the counter stuff to prescription topical creams, nothing worked. A year ago I started using honey masks (raw honey, olive or coconut oil, and milk) brown sugar optional) and all the acne is gone. I never thought I would have clear skin, the results have been amazing! Anyway, hope it helps!

  9. Wow! Totally a scam for reals after I read this blog. I was also lured ny a salesman being all too friendly with me and i decided to have him show me some product testing on my wrist. So he said it was a labor day huge discount for 72.99. So i knew i was low on my money on my card and decided to swipe but thank goodness it declined haha. So he even lowered the price twice at 69.00 and lastly 56.00 and still it declined. Dude even asked if i even had cash on me! Damn being pushy and all i was like yeah no thanks.

  10. DANGEROUS PROUCT.

I bought the exfoliating gel in London and paid 150 POUNDS. I had the same experience with the pushy salesperson.

More importantly, the product damaged my skin, burning my face and causing the skin to peel. I have sent the company photos of my skin after using the product but they are claiming that they are (and I quote) "a leading brand all over the world and all of our products are delivered to you after undergoing strict laboratory tests to insure the highest quality and of corse all of them are in full comply with the FDA regulations".

I can't find any details of their FDA approval and am waiting for the FDA to get back to me.

    DON'T BUY THESE PRODUCTS!

  11. I used the peeling gel, i used to go for diamond peeling and honestly i like this forever peeling gel better and way cheaper than going to derma. It improved my skin and less wrinkles. I dont like how the seller pressure me with getting d vitamin c but i think i will try iy next time. Its very costly though. Im a chemist and familiar with d ingredients theyre actually not harmfull

    1. Are you really a chemist? Diamond powder is downright deadly if it gets into your body.

      Delete
    2. diamond powder is not actually deadly... essentially diamond is CARBON and carbon is on the FDA's list of approved products that can be included in consumables. I'm not saying to go swallow a spoonful, but the amount that it included in powders and such for cosmetics is much smaller than you'd think which is why their price tag is ridiculous. they probably pay about 0.80/ct for the powders and put ~5cts in each product... maybe less.
I'm in sales of the dia. powder so its my job to know these things.

  13. I got snagged today at the mall while I was trying to find a clothing store that used to :( be there. The chick asked my name and I told her and she was all Oh my god! Thats my name too! and then went into the spiel and what not. Kept standing in my personal space, very close and fast talking etc. As soon as she told me the *special price* of $179 (CA) I was like uh NO! and then she added in the day and the night cream, and I still said yeah but that is too much for me right now. Kept trying to tell me that it was a 2yr supply, pointing out the little icon on the back of the pkg...that is just the expiry date...no WAY would that last 2 years, even once a week. I kept saying no, she kept dropping the price, even said she would do it on her discount - manager said oh yeah, absolutely.

Blah blah blah, I figure if someone has a product worth $X and has a sale to GWP a 2nd product (many top brands do that) but then keep dropping and dropping their prices, I wanna know how the hell they can keep a store front open! Blah. Was going to try it (the scrubby one)but wanted to research it more..glad i did!!!!

  15. I actually really like this product. I bought the gel mask for 65 and he threw in a giant bar of their soap as well. Every time I use it my face feels so fresh and I've gotten a lot of compliments on my skin. For those of you that spent 200 bucks.... that's your own fault for getting duped. The product does what it says it will and nothing more. Not sure why there are so many negative comments about it. In no way is it supposed to be some miracle cure for acne. It's your own fault for believing that BS.

    1. Wow, way to be a huge bitch. Keep on thinking that this stuff is doing more than a cheap drugstore brand does. The power of positive thinking must do wonders.

It doesn't bother you that this product is an OBVIOUS SCAM? When salespeople are trying to push a total bullshit product while making various claims and giving people ALL DIFFERENT PRICES AND LYING ABOUT THE RETAIL VALUE is the biggest red flag. Do you seriously think that you're special just because the salesperson lied to you a little less? When this many people have this many complains about how horrible this product is, the allergic reactions they had, and being approached by aggressive pushy sales people, that is the tell-tale sign that a product is no good.

You are either a delusional royal cunt or someone who works for Forever Flawless/Orogold.

    2. Personally, I find the legitimacy of this blog compromised by the clearly uneducated spew of profanities leaving the mouth of the majority of the ladies participating. Particularly of the original blogger. If you feel can't handle ladies disagreeing with your review, then you ought not publish reviews. Plain and simple.

Language aside, I agree, I like this product. It does freshen up my skin after use. I travel a lot through hot and cold climate so I get a mix of dry skin with oily skin and just general blemishes from jetsetting. I travel every other weekend and use it about once a week to aid dry skin and clogged pores.

Is it worth the price? Well, that's for your budget to decide. I can't place a value on anyone else's skincare.

Moral of the story: Try it for yourself. What works for me may not work for you.

If you are unhappy with a product great but please don't be an ass about it because it didn't work for you! I live this product and it is PARABEN free , I failed to see you mention that in your research rant! I have acne scars and this worked amazingly! Sorry your skin is so bad that nothing will work . Sometime we get acne due to hormones and diet! Even when I went to my doctor it took 3 different pharmaceutical products to work for my acne and they left scars! And all the ingredients my doctor gave me had PARABENS which cause BREAST CANCER!!!! This is one of the few products I Found after searching that does not have them! Even ALMAY, Clinique and very expensive brands like la prairie have PARABENS . So if you are upset it didn't help your acne maybe you should be thankful you won't need chemo cause you tried !

    4. I agree. I just had a run-in with forever flawless at my local mall. They have a no refund policy which I wasn't aware of when I bought the product. It was a total hard sell and I was stupid because the sample peel on my arm looked really good at first. Luckily, as I was walking to my car, a woman stopped to tell me about her experiences with the company. She told me that she told everyone to stay away from forever flawless because it was rip off. I am so glad she did because when I got home, I compared my arms and noticed that there was a red patch where the peel had been. I was scammed but at least I hadn't opened the package so I could exchange it for moisturizer. Way overpriced moisturizer but at least I should be able to use this product or feel okay giving it to someone with an explanation of how horrible forever flawless is.

    7. This happened to me as well. I tried to contact my bank and they can't do anything about it because my name/signiture is on the receipt. The sad part is the receipt is a joke! It has mispelled words like "Finel sale".. I'm so upset over the purchase of these things I tried to go back to the mall and get my refund but I couldn't. According to them the "manager is out of town.. I don't know when he will be back" I have worked in retail before and the workers always know when the manager will be back from vacation. I plan on calling the management of the mall and the local tv station to get the word out that this place is a SCAM! I have called the number at the top of the receipt and the "customer service" told me I need to email for a refund. Then HE will see the email and email it to some place in Arkansas.. ?? I asked for a direct line but apparently one doesn't exist. I haven't heard back from the email and its been over 24 hours. I paid $200 for 3 products 2 of which were "free". Yes, it's my fault that I didn't research the product before but I'm an impulse buyer and I honestly wouldn't mind paying a high price for products that work but after my boyfriend and I left the mall and his face started to burn I didn't wan to chance it and put the stuff on my face.. I don't care if I don't get the money back but the mall needs to get rid of this place before more people fall victim to this place.

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago from their NYC store (with no pressure because I do sales for a living, I knew exactly what I was walking into). Either way, I bought the "magic" peel for about $60 and I love it. Granted, it didn't clear up my acne and work crazy magic, but it did exactly what I wanted it to do which was get rid of all the dead skin on my face. And for everyone complaining that it didn't get rid of your acne, that's not what a peel is for. It is simply for removing dead skin off your face, and nothing more.

    3. hi ladies. been reading your comments. celcia i totally agree with u. i wrote a post on what happened to me. but the gal told me that it would help with acne, rosasia, brown marks, red marks, pimples. they do they u anything to get u to buy the product, dont they. i almost ended up buying the mask and the cleanser for 85.00 which was supposeable her price if she would buy it. so she made me think i was getting such a great deal. i think this gal that keeps changing up her name works for the company. when so meny of us are having such similar stories, makes u think theres something up with the company. anyway, i just wanted u to know celcia im with u. and i appreciate u standing up to this gal that works for the company, im sure. im sure shell try to say something nasty to me know that i wrote this. i could care less. her oppinions are mineingless. its nice celcia that your standing up to her for the rest of us. im sure most of us agree with u, even if we dont make a post telling u that. anyway, thanks again for being our voice. u understand what were all going through and i think this blog is for us to write about what happened to us and if the product worked for us or not.

  20. I got pulled into that store today at the mall. I dealt with a very pushy salesman. He wanted me to try the stretching serum and some weekly mask for my forehead crease. I insisted that I was about to go to work and couldn't try it that day since I needed my makeup to stay on. He pushed and pushed until I gave in and we did the two steps in that area. I must admit that it helped a lot. I wanted to see how long the results would last since my skin usually looks great after I use a mask or weekly exfoliant. I asked the price and how often would I need to use the products. I about fell out of my chair when he told me $700 for the two products. I told him that I could buy a tube of juvaderm for $500 and would have results that lasted a year. He started trying to point out my smile lines and asking what I was planning on doing with them. I politely let him know that one tube was enough for every crease on my face to befilled and even have some left over for my lip. He then said he would sell me one for $399 and give me the other product for free. I still replied no. He then told me that I wouldn't be 23 years old forever. I am 30. He was very pushy and in my personal space. I told him I had to leave to get to work on time and if my results lasted a few days then I would come back that weekend and purchase the products. He then lowered the price to $89. At this point I got aggravated. I told him again that I would be back if the results lasted a few days. He got angry at me. He made me feel super uncomfortable. He was still pushing me so I finally just left the store while he was still talking. Worst salesperson experience ever! So happy that I didn't buy the product. My lines were back before I could even get back to my car. Which was probably why he was so pushy. He probably knew that once I left I would see that results didn't last a week. I don't expect overnight miracles. I am realistic
Most products take a few weeks to get results
I have never had anyone at Ulta, Sephora, or Dillards try to push things on me or try to insult me to buy their products. Its a good thing I have great self esteem. I am sure he bullies women with low self esteem into buying that product all the time. To

  21. I recently tried on their products through a NYC sale pitch closed by the hotel. A few weeks later, I came back and bought the face peel, face cleanser, body scrub. I didn't get the rest of the white collection due to the smell but did get the stretching eye serum and the *blue* eye cream. Within a month of using their products, my face is glowing and smoother, my acne scar is significantly lighter. My dark circles and puffiness has reduced 50%, which to me is a miracle after using lots of remedy, and all sort of cosmetic brands over the years. Mind you, I didn't pay full price for all of these products but got signifiant discount that I consider that good deal after using YSL, Channel, Dior, Revive, DPMD for years. All my friends noticed my improved face after a month of used, so as for the cost, it is well spent to me!
I was lucky enough that I am working in NYC and able to try on their products multiple times until I actually see a result then give a few weeks later. So, the sale was not pushier than any other sale pitch that I've encountered.
A month later, I got to try on the black diamond collections. I was skeptical at first and did not go through with their sale pitch. However, 2 months later, I got the entire black collection. And it works wonder on me as directed by my saleman. My mom is hooked on their products as well as. We both are using YSL.
In short, the products do work, my saleman was knowledgeable, the sale pitch was not pushy, the price that you can negotiate is entirely up to you. I might not be as good as negotiate down my cost, but he threw in free products that I love so I'm happy, and I don't have to pay as the high cost like my previous skin care routine and get a lot more.

For those who are skeptical, go to their store & try on their products multiple times before deciding on them. Any skin care products will take at least a month to see full result.

Every one is different, Til you find the right one for you, keep searching! This is the right one for me.

    1. I recently bought this product. I am 33 years old. I am African American. I was suckered into the sale pitch and my sales person was a woman and she really did her job in getting me to buy. I tell you she was good. She started at $600.00 for about 6 products and I kept telling her no - this sales pitch lasted over 1 hour. No matter how much I said no - she still tried to show me something else. She went from 600, to 400 to 200 to 100 - all while mixing and matching products. Finally I stupidly walked away with a dead sea mud soap, forever flawless diamond scrub and the daily moisturizer for 125.00. I still feel like that is a lot of money. What I didn't like was the constant push of her telling me to take out my credit card. Even when I told her it was maxed. Anyway took the product home and didn't want to use it at all - just as I thought and I was totally pissed off that I had let yet another mall salesperson make me buy something (such as a hair straightener the month before for $200.00 - which doesn't work at all - but did work in the store) back to the story - so... I have finally decided to use the products. I must say I have suffered from acne for years and I do feel everyone's pain. I had really bad teenage acne until the age of 21. I had tried everything - surprisingly proactive seemed to help but other than that - to me - it isn't diet - its just life. since the age of 21 I have had FLAWLESS skin - must me all the years of suffering from acne. I must say I only use Oil of Olay, or noxema. I use very natural products - meaning products that have been on the market for years. as of late - La Roche Posay which is amazing... so let's talk about this diamond stuff - again I have flawless skin - this product - is good. I am sorry people have had bad experiences. I used this product as directed and immediately I saw my skin tighten and get softer and brighter. I am pleased with the results. I love it. Overpriced yes - but I do love it. My dark circles have lightened to me. the moisturizer is nice as well. I would never look at this product and think it would work for acne prone skin or rosacea etc. it is just a good facial scrub - used 1-2 times per week. Hope this review helps. Do not over pay for this product though - just walk away.

  25. I just got sucked in to buying these products also! I thought i was getting a "deal" spending $600 on the face cleanser, facial peel, face cream, eye serum, eye cream, body scrub & body butter after the saleswoman showed me the online prices. Well, i should have made her check Amazon because the same products are selling for HALF the price! I'm beyond furious right now. I truly believed the saleswoman that this product would forever change my skin and I still might believe that if she didn't lie to my face saying that she was giving me a great deal. Luckily my credit card hasn't been charged yet but I am planning on bringing everything back to the store and they better not give me a problem returning it. I'm not usually one to get suckered by pushy salespeople to buy something and i should have just said NO like i normally do.
Thanks for everyone's advice, glad i didnt open the products before reading this blog!

I did notice that my very dry legs were not getting exfoliated with the body scrub. I am very disappointed to read that forever flawless is a scam. I was on my honeymoon in Miami when I was tricked into buying this from a woman called Claudia. I've tried to be diligent in reading reviews before purchasing but being on my honeymoon made me drop my guard. Claudia, I hope your wedding in April next year (if you were even telling the truth about that, I didn't see a ring) is a complete failure! Extremely disappointed.

  27. I just recently starting using this product . My boyfriend gave it to me . He used it for dry, rough, cracked skin on his feet . A friend of his recommended it to him after using it to clear up his athlete's foot.

My boyfriend heard from the salesperson that it also helps with acne so he got me this product. I'm using the scrub and body butter. I'm not sure if it is helping my acne but it does make my skin soft . I am hoping it helps with my acne since I've had very mild acne for 8 years now . I've read some of the reviews and I see most people aren't too impressed with this product . So far so good I guess for me .

    Good luck everyone!!

  29. I haven't tried this product yet so I have nothing to say about it. I was looking for reviews because I noticed my boyfriend has one of their bags under the Christmas tree for me. I googled it and found out it was face cream and what not. But I read how you all are paying nearly $200 for it and getting ripped off. I asked him how much he paid for it and he said $170 but they gave him three more kits for free. So I guess it wasn't to bad. But when I try the stuff, I'll have my say. But thank you for the review! Something I most certainly needed to read.

  30. I went to the mall last night and a very nice saleslady approached me and asked if I would like to come in the shop and get a free eye treatment. I'm usually not one for falling for sales tricks and gimics, but I had some time, and said ok. She was explaining about the products and whatnot so I asked the price. Ridiculous $400 for a tiny 2 oz. Jar. Although it did make my dark circles go away, so do cucumbers! I just politely said no and walked away. The saleslady wasn't pushy at all though, very nice young lady.

  31. Yeah, Hampstead High Street, today, didn't buy the crap, (btw Celcia, love your "refreshing" language, and I'm an old "nice" educated woman). Was actually interested initially as wanted eye gel, but wasn't told until it was applied that it contained "diamond dust" I was fuckin incredulous. And said there was no way I would have put diamond dust around my eyes, only to be reassured that it was scientifically proven. Ah, goody, I am a scientist and teach critical thinking and enjoy beauty science (oh btw for acne probably a blue light is your best bet and Sirius Aurora is probably the best price/quality combo, I have their version of a clarisonic - which is cheap and very very good, and I regularly use a red light LED, vit A and homemade Vit C serum, I am old 50yrs but my skin is very nice). The scientific paper was er... "The Daily Mail"?! Well I had a whole pile of fun doing a mini-lecture on just critical thinking; the science lecture and the concept of peer review will have to be another time. No I didn't buy it, it doesn't make sense, yes I understand the concept of causing irritation to stimulate collagen but the diamond dust idea is either ineffectual at best or closer I suspect actually dangerous.

I also work with glass as a hobby however, here the fine sharp dust particles of glass are seen as a serious health hazard, which is why goggles and a mask is worn at all times.

  33. I bought this product about a year ago in a shopping centre in north London. At the time, I just turned 26 with okish skin, i thought i was ready to spend a little extra and buy a product that could make me have glowing, spot free skin, I've never been a spotty person (maybe a single spot or 2 comes along every 2 weeks or so).. Anyway, I was stopped whilst shopping by of course an Israli pushy salesman and ordered to sit down and try out this "new, amazing celeb-wearing product".. He also told me that they also own Oro-gold, and I had remembered that my sister had bought a product from them a while back, and said it was OK.. SO, he then shows me a picture of Mila Kunis and told me that she is my age, and is using this product, and her skin is flawless! So i thought, why the hell not.. Like an idiot.. I cant remember the exact price he started off with, but I ended up buying 2 products (the facial peel and AM moisturiser-White collection) for 100GBP. By the way, up until 1 year later, i've never researched the damn product, until now... 1 year on, and my skin is TERRIBLE. I still have a bit of the product left also. I have been wondering all this time WHY HAVE I BROKE OUT IN THESE SPOTS ALL OVER MY FACE! I've never ever had this problem! My face is an absolute MESS :( .. I finally know why this has happened, but I was too stupid to think that an expensive product could be the reason behind all this. It's made my skin so much worse, please noone buy it! AND remember, if this product was SO DAMN good then why would they keep reducing the price? YSL, Estee Lauder, would NEVER go down in price.. THINK!

  34. I feel really bad that you got tricked into thinking that this would cure your acne. However, I do recommend doing extensive research on curing acne before buying any product. My personal experience is that unless you can afford a dermatologist who can guide you with POSSIBLY fewer mistakes, there's not really one magic cure that gets rid of acne so don't ever give into that .Even expensive dermabrasion procedures do not promise long lasting results for everyone, and for some skin types it's not good at all. Unfortunately in discovering the best skin care routine, I do think most people end up wasting a lot of money and having many trial errors. I'm not sure if there's really a way to avoid that. What I found to work for me is actually not that expensive, but it is also controversial and it's the oil cleansing method. I'm also an advocate for gentle natural products, change of diet and all that, but some argue that those things don't make a different. It does for me, and that's all I know.

    1. Not all microdermabbrasion treatments are expensive though. :) I do one at home twice a week. My resurfacing cream is about $39 and a jar lasts for 4 months. It's not really great for acne, but it sure does help get rid of those ugly blemishes left behind! I use Susan Lucci's Youthful Essence.

    1. ahh... but you are wrong here, I do keep coming back to see how the discussion is progressing. It isn't just a cream. Most beauty products of the past could do little more than hydrate. Modern cosmetic dermatology really has found many substances that can actually penetrate the dermis, relax wrinkles, increase collagen and fibroblasts, "brighten" and generally correct flaws. Modern beauty creams actually can make claims that are substantiated by science. We all want a little "pixie dust" when we go out buying for a treat for ourselves, and I do not blame anyone being drawn in and buying this product. However, unlike many more main stream products they are making unsubstantiated claims (or at least substantiated by their own informercials in women's mags/Daily Mail etc). Also the very premise for their product rubbing an abrasive powder which in industry would require special handling due to its pernicious nature. Diamond is a hardened form of the element carbon, the hardness in Moh's scale is 10. Infact, diamond is the hardest material on that scale. Diamond, when powdered is sharpe like glass pieces (in fact knives with diamond edges are used to cut glass). If this actually is in their product YOU WILL BE RUBBING THIS ON YOUR FACE.

This is why I return to the site, because it is easy to suspend our reason when our desires (to be pretty and want treats and want to be loved) are teased by cynical marketeers.

It is easy to see how our emotions also cloud our thinking and perhaps the above poster might more clearly respond to my own posts on the 15th and 16th of December.

I think Celia has provided an excellent opportunity to draw attention to this. And, like you I find her site entertaining and engaging.

As for world peace well actually, perhaps a bit more digging about the profits of such organizations may be illuminating.

  38. Interesting blog and responses. I was trying to find out about "forever flawless" since I had received their nail hand treatment product as a gift. I went back to the store (new) to get a refund, since I am not into beauty products. Well, they could not do that. I eventually settled for day cream for a straight switch. I found out from one of them that all staff appear to be Israeli, and are driven back and forth between where they live and work. Noone seems to have a last name either. The face cream smells like coconut. So, I doubt that it is anything more than coconut oil. Cheap product for ridiculously high price. I am 62, and already have awesome skin. My guess is that is mostly due to genetics. Thanks for the blog. I do not know where to get better information on the product.

    2. I feel like an idiot. Bought this product last night. Did not read the no refund only exchange. Let's just say I spent way more than one can imagine using a credit card. Do you have any advise for return or refund? My thoughts were to go and give them all their stuff back and cancel the credit card? I will be calling the mall tomorrow too to let them know about their tenant. Help???

  39. i had just been to Singapore and in the mall, this Israeli Salesperson pulled us(me and my husband) inside by asking which country do we come from, and complimenting my bag and stuff. (Must say they do have salesmanship, and they know how to make the customer buy their worthlessly expensive product).

She got us in, and said let me give you a nice hand spa with th salt got from dead sea apparantly, after which the hands did feel soft. When asked, the price she said, it was 150 SGD for 1 piece, and as it was their yearly anniversary, we get 1 more for free.
i found the product really expensive, but my husband thought of giving it a try.She claimed that the brand was used by Hollywood stars and is available only in Las Vegas and Singapore.

When we went towards payment, we paid through Mastercard, thats when she got the body creme, saying : since you pay through mastercard, this creme worth 150SGD costs us only 50$, and like fools, we added it up in the bill. I told her, i am finding the products really expensive and she just added the diamond creme as free without any hesistance. All this while she was praising about my clothes, my bag and how good we looked as a couple.

i havent used the product yet, but i though to read the reviews before trying, and i was shocked to see the blog and find out that its a scam.I cant believe we bought salt worth 200$ and moreover I am now scared to use the product as i dont want any negative effect on me.

I wish i can return the unused products and get back my 200$ and shop for something worthy instaed :(

  40. thank you everyone for your reviews, I was in New York and I was walking and some handsome man handed me a sample for lotion and then he said come in for more and without thinking i walked in a he pointing me to this woman and she tried on the exfoliator which is orange in a small white box, as she put it on my hand she quickly wiped it and was like you see how white and clean your skin looks, she was speaking so fast talking about how it will remove my pores i said ok thank you and she said its $60 today but $120 online after i said ok thank you she gave me this fake smile which i did not like . I then left the store and when I got home i was thinking about the product was saying to myself i really want to get it since it made my hand look clean ( well at that moment) so i deciding to look it up online and then i found all these review and i cant believe its a scam thank you guys for saving me $120 and on top of that i hear that it is an israeli product, which is something i already dislike since i like to avoid buying israeli products because i dont want to fund their occupation on palestinian land.
BTW the store is called euphorie it is located on east 51 st.

  41. Just got scammed in Vegas outlet mall. It took me a year to decide to try the eye serum and cream. Last year a crazy guy jumped out put something on my eye area that really plumped the skin and lasted more than 24 hours. I thought that was what I was buying, when I went back last week. After playing the game, i got 5 products for $200. I knew what I was doing.......but THIS shit doesn't do anything. Doesn't even tingle like the first time. What could have happened?

Oh, and for the record, I don't believe any of the pitch about retail prices and/or diamond dust!

  43. ok, first off id like to hug all u ladies and gentlemen, if we have any here. i went to the mall the other day without my hubby. and just walking past this store this gal lours me inside her store, saying let me give u a free sample. lol. she was really sweet. we had a great chat. but she also put the stuff that takes off the dead skin on my arm. as im writing this, i wonder why they dont put it on your face . i quess most of us ladies wear make up . so thats understandable. anyway. long story short at the end of our nice chat. i ask her so what does this cost. she tells me for all 3 the mask, cleanser and moisturizer its 500.00. lol. i told her well i dont have that kind of money. she reduces the price again. i tell her i dont have that kind of money either. so then she starts to walk away, back to her register. and says ok i really like u and i want u to have this product, cause it works so great. im going to give u the price it would cost me to buy the product. but she would not include the moisturizer. so just the mask and the cleanser for 85.00. i said wow, really. u wont get into trouble doing that. she says she really wants me to take home the product. lol. so i did have 100.00 and i told her lets do it. so we go up to the register and shes on the register ringing it all up. as i stood there. im thinking in my head. what the hell am i doing. if my hubby was here i wouldnt even be in this store. when im with the hubby we are able to dodge everything that trys to lour u in. but for some reason this gal talked me into the store. the word "sample" was what did it for me. lol. so im still standing there, as the gal is at the register ringing it all up. and i tell her. i dont want to do it. i give her some stupid story about that id like to get the whole deal together. and that i would come back after i got my tax return. lol. im so glad i didnt waste my money. i really appreciate all of u that wrote about what happened to u. after i got home and told my hubby i had to laugh at myself for almost giving this gal all the money i had for something i didnt even know anything about. its funny cause i really thought the gal was giving me a great deal. then after i read all your comments. its just funny. thanks again for taking the time to let us all know what happened and if the product is good or not. im really happy i didnt buy the product.

  46. Here's another horror story, sadly:
My friend and I visited London this weekend and of course we were pulled in by two girls working in Forever Flawless. They showed us the scrub and we were starry eyed, both of us bought it, and got a free hand lotion, reduced *first warning sign*. They also gave us coupons for a free facial worth £150, which I thought was too bad since we were only there but for another day, but LUCKILY they had time for us before then *second warning sign*.
The facial was amazing and like the sucker I am I bought everything, at least with a great reduction, but still it has set me back. Actually I tried to get a refund but that was something they claimed not to do, even though I explained I had acted rashly and this would set me back, I can not afford "diamond" skincare, but because of the offers I got, I thought I was making a good deal.
Finding this blog was sad, and thinking about the whole experience makes me sad, the girls were so nice and so sweet and I do feel like we bonded a little bit but thanks to this blog I know they were just playing me. I feel really embarrassed about it and now I have all these unopened products that make me want to cry when I look at them and a bank account that makes me want to cry when I look at it.
I am so embarrassed and so sad, this ruined my whole trip.

To paraphrase Celia's apposite response, I am not sure why you have posted at all. Once a mistaken path is taken, it is surly a greater mistake to continue. Which is why I admire the scientific approach and the women who have reported their mistake here, even though it was hugely humiliating for them. 48. I WANT TO THROW UP!! I just got back from Las Vegas last night and needless to say I was sucked in by this Italian guy for $423.00. I started the treatment last night after being on a plane all day. I just knew this would feel so good to my face. WRONG!! It set my face on fire!. I pulled out the instruction sheet to make sure I used everything correctly, I did. And now I have seen the receipt and it reads NO REFUNDS! WTH... I called the customer service # 1-866-818-4113 which is just an answering machine telling you to leave your information and they will call you back! I refuse to be out of $423.00 for something I can't use. No where did it say anywhere in the store NO REFUNDS. I live in Alabama and if a store has that policy they must have it stated on a sign at the register. I assume VEGAS isn't this way. Am I SHIT OUT OF LUCK? HELP! SUGGESTIONS ON how to send this FACE ON FIRE shitty product back!

Hi! Glad I found this blog as I'd like to share my story too (don't have facebook and I'd rather not share this rather awkward situation with friends anyways). This is at 395 Queen St W in Toronto, the store is called Divine Beauty Bar.

I live in Toronto. On my way to the Eaton Centre as I was walking down Queen Street I was suckered in by a guy named "George". Noticed all the other workers there were male and had an accent that I couldn't figure out. Because my friend was going to be late I figured I had time to fool around and try a few samples. As a person who is often very good at rejection, I failed. I know that I should have seen the warning signs when he kept reducing the prices and throwing more free products at me. Long story short: After a few sample tests for the diamond peel and the manicure kit I ended up spending $216 on stuff that I felt like I wasn't going to end up using, and because it was such an expensive impulse buy I knew I had to bring it back.

I did my shopping and walked back to the store which was still open, talked to the "manager" (didn't get his name) about getting a refund because I don't need to spend so much money on this skincare product and he actually tried to SELL ME MORE STUFF! I told him NO, just want my money back. He gave me the number to their head office but unfortunately I misplaced it!

I called the number that was listed on the receipt (surprise surprise it's not the store number) and spoke to a rep who said she would have to call the store to get the manager to authorize the refund. The next day she called me back and said that I had to call the actual Forever Flawless head office, and I did today. The call went straight to another person who told me to call yet another number, as they don't deal with the Canadian stores? Finally I spoke to a girl named Danielle who was very helpful. She informed me that the Divine Beauty Bar is not actually a Forever Flawless/Orogold-owned store, they're just an authorized reseller that they have no control over. She did find the actual store number which apparently is that difficult to locate so I saved it just IN CASE!

To sum it all up their customer service is very shitty. I don't understand why it's so hard to "authorize" a refund. I get that it was my mistake for even walking into that store, and I get that at the end of the day these people are trying to make money. But it doesn't help that they scam the shit out of customers and aren't even helpful.

Still waiting for my refund! I'll come back if it's successful!

Soo pushy, rude and will not take no for an answer! I even had my three year old with me, and they would not take "No" for an answer! 55. I grabbed a sample from a man and as I was walking away he asked me If I wanted some more samples. I had an hour to spare before a hair appointment so I agreed. I followed him into the store and of course he gave me that useless demo on my arm. I already knew there was no way I was going to buy any skin products because I'm already on a three step program that is working really well for me. Then he told me the price and I laughed. I wouldn't even pay 15 dollars for those products. I kept telling him there was absolutely no way I was buying anything today as I always do research on skin products before I buy them. Obviously this made him start to negotiate deals and lower the prices, (also told me about 10 times this deal is only for me and its my lucky day blah blah blah). I have never felt so uncomfortable in my entire life. He asked the most irrelevant questions, like when was the last time I showered. He then grabbed my hair and said it was beautiful but blonde hair would look better on me. Asked me what my favorite kind of alcohol is (after I told him I was 19). Then when I told him I was leaving and I still wasn't going to buy any product he gave me a piece of paper with his name and number on it and tried to hug me.....I basically ran out of the store.

From now on I will ALWAYS wait before I buy anything, so that I can check the online reviews. How lucky are we to have the internet!! Very interesting about the toxicity of the diamond powder. I was noticing this morning that the diamond powder sticks to my skin and takes quite a lot of scrubbing to get it out. I can imagine it would eventually enter the body through the skin and could wreak havoc. I am throwing this Shit away. Thanks again.

  58. I also got suckered in and prices kept being lowered and more "free" stuff added, but somehow I (usually smarter than this) allowed myself to be demonstrated on by the pushiest saleswoman I've ever met. Same techniques as described above. I can't believe I spent $300 and now I can't find the receipt! I doubt they'd take it back anyway.

Then suddenly we were given a free facial each and suddenly a guy who claimed to be one of the owners gave me another facial treatment including the diamond peel mask and non invasive Botox using snake venum. After that, he said, "I'm going mad today"! I'm going to treat you and your friend . All skin care products from white to black collection and make-up for free! Honestly, we were speechless, overwhelmed and blinded!!! When he asked me to go up stairs to get load of make up products and skin care products( me and my friend) got 6 bags full of products) he offered me to buy the Botox treatment product which he will give me discounted price of £1800 to be paid in 3 payments. I honestly was blinded and overwhelmed that I paid for the product and same with my friend! That night me and my friend has been experiencing itchiness on our faces and had to take anti histamine which did help. We decided to NOT open and use the purchased product and return everything as we don't want to take chances. When my fried went to the store today, she was told that the branch where we purchased does not have a return policy buy only exchange policy. My friend told the manage that we did not all theroducys that we bought and all the free items given to us and unopened and we just want to return everything. Then the manager said he will call the customer service as he did not give the number to my friend, and he will be the one to contact us what the customer service decides. I am writing here now, bec I wanted to ask help in case they will insist their policy but the thing is, we had bad skin reactions to their products and the cost was no joke! Then we were treated to a free facial and suddenly a man who claimed to be one of the owners of the branch who is based in Las Vegas introduced himself and even gave me additional free facial treatment using mask and the non invasive Botox using the venum. We decided to return the products including all the free gifts as we did not open and use any single item. When my friend when to the store this afternoon, to explain everything , she was told by the manage that it is just a normal reaction and that each branch ha s its own policy. Theirs is " No return/refund within 14 days! My friend explained that we cannot take chances to use the products as we already had bad raftions to it and the manager said he will contact the customer service himself and will update us. 62. Hi Juliet! Thanks for replying. Yes, we will going back to the store this week. I am also worried since the store which we bought the products has got NO REFUND policy . But unti now, we have not opened and use the products we bought. I got a call from the manager who told me to check my face the minute I wake up today thou I told him it's getting better with the help of antihistamine. He insisted that it's not itchiness,it's tingling. Told him I am a nurse so I know very much the difference between the two. He then told me he is going to ring me again to day. We are worried how can we return and ask for refunds despite their policy "NO REFUNF". We are planning to call Citizens Advoce Bureau as well.... I'm very stressed and anxious...

  63. YEP PLEASE GO TO TRADING STANDARDS, they definitely have very sharp practices. I'm sure the no refund policy is "legal" but... the way they have sold you the product and I would claim the product itself is dubious (see previous post regarding the preposterous idea that rubbing ground up diamonds on your face would be a good thing, it is a "Industrial Hazard" in the diamond industry.

    1. Their policy is No return,No refund. Exchange of products only within 14 days from purchase. We have not used the products we bought from the store since we bought it last Sunday,May 11. Since we are afraid to take the risk as we got allergic reactions from their free facial and make -up make over they gave us from the store. I have contacts with the manager and he said he will forward to somebody our issues to help us. I am just hoping they will do as we wanted to return the unused products and they will give us refund. If we did not react badly to their free samples, we wouldn't be as stressed and worried now. We spent a big amount buying those products and we honestly admit that we were blinded

pop your post code in the search box to find your local trading standards; your goods are not fit for purpose they are possibly dangers (ground diamonds on skin etc). To me it all seems similar (ie because of the health risk) to the skin whitening products and trading standards want to address that issue in the UK https://suffolktradingstandards.wordpress.com/category/trading-standards/page/27/

  64. There are three main sections in the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations. These are as follows:

The general ban on unfair commercial practices
Misleading and aggressive practices which are assessed in light of the effect they have, or are likely to have, on the average consumer
The Black List which contains the list of those practices which are unfair and thus banned

    Misleading actions
Companies are not allowed to use misleading or underhand tactics to get you to part with your cash.

Misleading actions include advertising goods that don't exist, or offering just a few items at the advertised price with no hope of meeting large demand.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Traders are also banned from lying about goods or passing them off as another product to give them credibility.

For example 'we only fit genuine, branded parts', when in reality they are fitting non-branded parts to your car.
    Misleading omissions

Sometimes it's not what's actually said that's the problem. Sometimes its what's been left out that's the issue.

The CPRs offers consumer protection against traders who are economical with the truth, or miss out key information that you might need to make an informed decision, will be caught out too.

Traders must make sure the information is provided in a timely manner - and not so late that it's of no use to you.

It's considered misleading if a trader does any of the following:

Omits material information that the average consumer needs, according to the context, to take an informed transactional decision
Hides or provide material information in an unclear, unintelligible, ambiguous or untimely manner
Fails to identify the commercial intent of the commercial practice if not already apparent from the context

And information must also be displayed clearly - obscure presentation is tantamount to an omission.
    Sales tactics

Sales tactics can greatly influence a consumer's decision. Traders who fail to take no for an answer, refuse to leave until a contract is signed or use threatening behaviour will be committing an offence.

A practice is considered aggressive if the average consumer’s freedom of choice or conduct is significantly impaired.

The legislation contains a list of criteria to help determine whether a commercial practice uses harassment, coercion, including physical force, or undue influence.

Undue influence is categorised by something that applies pressure 'even without using or threatening to use physical force, in a way which significantly limits the consumer’s ability to make an informed decision.'
    The CPRs in practice

If a trader is accused of misleading consumers or acting aggressively, it's not enough to simply demonstrate the activity.

It also has to be shown that the practice influenced the consumer's decision.

This doesn't necessarily mean that the consumer has to have entered into a contract, just that their actions were influenced in some way.

    Banned practices

In addition to tackling misleading and aggressive behaviour, the CPRs outlaw 31 specific practices such as claiming something is free when it's not and persistent cold-calling.

With these 31 practices it's enough simply to demonstrate wrongdoing, and there is no need to show that it influenced the consumer's decision in any way.
    .

The list of banned practices include the following:

  68. ha ha. . .omg. It was about 2 months ago (March 2014) that I first heard of this brand. I was at a mall in southern California and I was with my friend. We went to walk around, not to shop. My friend told me 'hey look, that lady wants your attention". So, I stopped in. Big mistake. I went in and the lady wanted to give me a make over -whatever. I got one, my friend didn't. She used the cleaner - with the powdered diamonds. Then she used the cream/lotion. (Both on one side of my face). Then she used the cleanser on my hand (one hand) to show the difference in my hands - one was lighter than the other.

At the end of all of this - I knew what was coming. A sales pitch. I don't have a part-time job. I work 1099 b.s. and I don't even earn minimum wage (about $250 net). I don't even earn that much a MONTH! So The lady processes to try as she might - sell me the entire package of whatever for - get this - $350! I laugh out load right in the store. I said "Lady, I don't make that kind of money in a month. I don't make that kind of money in two months. I need to work 3 or 4 months to just earn that kind of money". She didn't understand and said 'Oh okay, I'll sell this entire package to you for only $250". Again, told her that I don't earn 250 a month. I told her, "thanks, no thank you" and left. I remember using the free lotion pack afterwards and I wondered what it would do to me.

That was 2 months ago. I just went back to the same mall and they added a new kiosk with a saleswoman - passing out free samples of their lotion. I took one and so did my friend. I'm so glad I came to this website. I'm throwing out the stupid diamond shaped lotion packet. I'd rather use my $5 Nuetrogenia face wash. I can afford that on my low low low income. And it lasts 2 months.

  69. Worked for me..it makes my skin soft and does a good job getting rid of the makeup and any dirt .I love how it makes my skin feel and looks real clean..It must suck to have acne and not be able to find anything to cure it..maybe you should try proactive. Or find a dermatologist maybe its somethig internal..but I doubt forever flawless can do any kind of micracle towards acne.

    1. Lol Proactive did nothing for me other than burn my skin and rob my bank account. That stuff is total garbage. The sales people for Forever Flawless LIED to me about it being an acne treatment.

  70. I had an aggressive sales person as well that really ticked me off when I told her that I had to consult with my husband when spending this amount of money. She got really upset and said well don't you work. Yes I do but what does that have to do with the price of tea in China.

  71. These people are sleazy. One of them actually chased me past 2 store fronts in the mall to get a response, which he probably regretted afterword. I really wish our mall would kick them out.

  72. First of all, I can 100% guarantee I do not work for Forever Flawless.

I get really bad eczema on my face multiple times a year (especially when seasons change) and have super sensitive skin.

I found that the forever flawless line actually helps my eczema breakouts (in about 3 days!) and I have NEVER had an allergic reaction to their products.

I have tried multiple skin care products such as La Roche Posay, Clinique, Proactiv, etc. All other products have given me rashes on my face or dried my skin out or plain out did not work.

I really like the Forever Flawless line, the daily moisturizer makes my makeup go on smoother, and I don't have to use as much. I have also had lots of compliments from clients at work and friends saying that my skin is glowing.

The only thing I disagree with about this product is their sales approach. They are very pushy and take up a lot of your time. Other then that, I have been very happy with this product and would recommend it to family and friends.

  73. My husband is a chemist, He tested the exfoliate after I complained that it felt odd. Guess what? The cream contains GLUE. THE DEAD SKIN THAT IS SUPPOSEDLY EXFOLIATING IS ACTUALLY LITTLE BALLS OF GLUE.

And does anyone find it strange that the sales people are all Isreali jews? They recruit these young people right after their IDF service is complete.

Tell them NO, Be rude, DO WHATEVER YOU MUST, you have been warned.

  74. I bought $200.00 worth of Forever Flawless in a local mall. I have sensitive skin and the product produced a rash. My husband took the products back, unopened to return them. They said their policy was no refunds or returns. It was printed on the receipt, they said, and I said, "Well, you didn't tell me that at the time of the sale." The next day the wrinkles that supposedly disappeared in the light inside the booth were still there in my bathroom mirror the next morning. A bit of serum used on my left eye actually made it worse. The customer service sucks. They don't stand behind their product if it doesn't work for you. You are lied to as looking more beautiful a few minutes after they put the stuff on you.

  75. My friend and I did a trip to America last year for Christmas (we're both from Australia) and when we were in Vegas at the outlets a man pulled us aside and tried to sell us this product and told us that the white stuff coming off our hands was dead skin. Of course we were both skeptical because you can never trust anything like that in Australia but I was pretty impressed with it, if things react on my hands it will react on my face (I have pretty sensitive skin). The man then told us that it was $180 and we both said no. He then told us that they were opening a store in Australia and if we told our friends about it back home he would give it to us for what he pays which is $30. I decided to buy it because if it was crap I only payed $33 (including tax) but my friend refused to buy it. Honestly I love the product. My skin glows instantly and I get so many compliments on how clear my skin is. Literally the next day all my pimples are gone or extremely reduced. Before I do the peel I use Khiel's Rare Earth Cleanser and after I have used the face peel I apply SK-II's facial treatment and Khiel's Ultimate Facial Cream and my skin looks amazing! When I got home I decided to use it on one of my friends who has pretty bad skin and her face turned out great! I just wish I had of bought more while he was offering it to me for $30.

I admit, I am a sucker. I fell for a high pressure salesman at the Mission Viejo Mall and paid $600 for 6 products. Then the sales person wanted to sell me three other products for an additional $900 after putting some mask on my face. I finally said no and his attitude became less friendly. I know this is my own fault. I will not fall for this scam again. They made an appointment for me for a "free" facial, but I will cancel it because they will just try to sell me more of this stuff.

  77. I just was "sucked into" the store near Grand Central Station in NYC, the guy, from Israel, who was not only pushy but inappropriately forward, also gave me his personal phone number when all I asked for was the store address. So after he takes half my makeup off (mind you I was going to dinner with my daughter so was not happy that I now only had half my makeup left) he puts the lotion and the lifter on my face. Yes I felt a difference, sort of. So after about 30 minutes of him leaning into my personal space way too closely, he finally goes to the sale, he asks so, how much do you think this is and I said I have no idea but sure it wasn't cheap. He then proceeds to tell me $1500 !!!!!!!!! Just for the lifter! What the..... I was like, yea, that is not in my budget and was wanting to run out of the store, but he walked over to the register and was going to see what kind of a deal he could give me. I dont know why I even walked over there because I knew I wasn't walking out of the store with any of it unless he gave it to me for 5% of what he quoted. He said since I was so sweet and cute that he'd give it to me for his cost and no commission. Finally he puts the lotion on top of the lifter (his gift to me) and the price magically drops from $1500 to $220.... what kind of a moron do you think I am dude?! So I looked on their website and found the lifter for $1500, however I am almost certain that what ended up on the counter wasn't the $1500 platinum but rather the $200 white diamond one. What a jerk.

  79. I got sucked into buying $400 worth. They did not care that I said I had just lost my job. Went from $1000 to $400. Really thought I was getting a good deal. But then I couldn't sleep thinking about the money I couldn't afford to spend. I was even afraid to go back & return them. But after reading all these comments I decided to just hold my ground. They were BAFFLED that I was trying to return. The guy had to call someone . Then the guy (supposedly the owner who was only there for the day) came in & tried to convince me to keep. I refused to even discuss it. Told him that & just wanted my refund. He got very angry but yea! I got my refund. Of course I got a receipt & will need to check my credit card to make sure. Just give yourself a pep talk before you go & hold your ground. Don't let these low lifes make you feel bad about yourself!

  81. I got hit up last night walking through Times Sq. Everyone has already said everythng that needs to be said, so let me just give some basic tips here.
    1. your level of skepticism of a product should have a direct corrolation with the proximity to times square. (i.e.42nd& Bway...SCAM without fail....Fargo, ND...eh, hear'em out)
    2. There are certain things (in America at least) that you haggle price on. Cosmetics ain't one of'em. Want proof? walk into Macys and say "see that moistureizer, the one with the $80 price tag....I'll give you $40 for it" I would love for someone to post on here what the results to that exchange would be. Point is....Cars\pawn shops...YES, Cosemtics\restaurants\everything else....NO, The fact that these people are willing to compromise on price in a culture that doesn't do that, should be a huge read flag.
    3. is it possible to have a "good" sellsperson, selling "morally sound" products who's pushy....sure. But by and large, employees should not have to work so hard to close their customers. About 30sec in, I recognized what I had just walked into, so rather than just taking the easier option and standing up and saying " thanks but no thanks", I went ahead and listened to her pitch.
4.her Pitch was VERY scripted (or she has aspergers syndrome) So that was a small red flag. It is possible she is just new, or not a born salesperson.
    5. She referenced 2-3 times that I don't bathe, or I smell. Neither are true, and she would always say "only kidding". Point is: don't assume just because you're about a soft-7 that you can flirt with me and espeically not by joking about my hygene which is on point btw.
    6. Lastly, my degree isn't in commercial sociology or anything, but there HAS to be documented studies that show how lying\flirting\telling people what they want to hear, is a FAR worse sales strategy than being honest, personable, and understanding. Im not suggesting the former doesn't work. Judging by this blog it clearly does. Im suggesting that, if its my company, I know that pushy-deceptive salespeople on my show floor are unquestionably going hurt my bottom line more than they could help, and that they are likely a liability that could land me and my company into some kind of class action law suit.

Point to all this is....foget the "too good to be true" idea. sometimes you stumble into a deal. Instead, look where you are, geographically\ n your life\in your day. If you're near Times Sq....well we've learned to stay away from there right kids? Where you are in life matters too...are you single or married? Either answer gives them ammo: "dont you want to look more handsome\pretty so you can meet someone" or "Don't you want your spouse to still be attracted to you". Even where you are in your day matters....if its late after a happy hour and you've had a long day you are more subseptable to making impulse decisions. Between knowing your surroundings and seeing the signs of a scam and being aware of where you are in life\day\city....you should be able to avoid this crap going fwd. I leave you with this final thought.....this "shock and awe" sales tactic isn't new, its been around for years. So keep in the forefront of your mind, that if anyone does or says anything that makes you feel even the SLIGHTEST bit uncomfortable, you will make the decision right then and there that they ain't gettin' none a yo' money!! lol Even if its at the freakin' Gap or something. You can always come back. its called customer SERVICE for a reason, and when service morphs into boarderline harassment....at least that PERSON, but likely that company, doesn't deserve your patronage.

(good lord I just wrote a novel on some chicks blog about moisturizer....in the middle of the day...AT WORK. haha)

    1. I liked and agreed with every line of your novel! When the sales person realized that I am not buying their product, held a mirror in front of my face and said: seriously, do you know how many black heads you have? She continued her rudeness with: why do you think I pulled you in our store if you had a perfect skin? 83. Hi guys...well, dammit! Just got home from the mall, and had the same sales pitch...but seriously? He did the eye treatment (serum and cream) on one eye only - it was a couple hours ago, and every time I walk by a mirror I flip out at how much younger that eye area looks! He also did the peel, vitamin C thing on my arm, and damned if it doesn't also look great. So I got all that stuff, and the nail kit - THAT is completely awesome, the cotton/silk buffer really does the job) - and the salt scrub for like $400. Ridiculous? Yeah, of course, I know this - I used to do "live infomercials" myself, I know all the tricks, and I know I probably got totally rooked (I was cracking up the whole way home, "bent right over and he didn't even kiss ya first!") - but seriously? You should see that eye area. It's astonishing. I will update after I use everything and we'll see if it actually works. Is it possible that it IS good for some people's skin? I don't know. He also gave me a coupon for a "free" facial at the store in Scottsdale (where I am sure they will try to sell me more stuff, I even told him as much, so I might not even bother). But we'll see how the product works - and if it doesn't, they will certainly be hearing from me at the "store". Keep up the good work, Celcia - honestly I wish I had come across this blog before dropping the cash, but my left eye looks so incredibly young now that I am actually hopeful. ;)

  84. I like the product. I really do. But it is still a scam, of sorts. I replied to the facial evite as follows -

    Hi Alberto Eli!

Donna here. With hindsight, I really enjoyed the time spent with you yesterday at the mall. (There's a sentence I never thought I'd be typing.) I didn't mention this yesterday, but I used to work in commission sales, too - I did live infomercials in various retail outlets...so yeah, I know most of the tricks (but clearly not all). Yes, I was driving home going, "Bent right over! And he didn't even kiss me first!" LOL.

The difference is, the crap I was selling was...well...crap. And the stuff you are selling (drum roll, please) - ACTUALLY DOES WORK! I used the serum and eye cream, and the peel and Vitamin C stuff this morning...I seriously look 10 years younger. IN ONE DAY. My spots even faded - after one freaking use. That is extremely cool.

That said, the price of this stuff? Oh, really? I mean, my RENT is less than some of the stuff on the website! Much as I like it, there is NO WAY that I could possibly continue to afford it. Super grateful for the "deal" you gave me - at least I know what to look for in a product now. When I break it down, $400 for 6 items works out to about $65 per item, which is actually less than a lot of the premium stuff out there, so I guess I don't feel too badly about the cash drop. Honestly, though, I may shop at that mall from time to time, but I am strictly middle class in regards to income. My rent really IS only $600 a month, and I pull in less than $50K per year. It doesn't make sense to spend that much on skin care. Not that skin isn't important, but I'm not a particularly vain person - my appearance is not as important to me as my performance as a human being - and being able to pay my bills and occasionally help out others means a lot more.

I'm sure you are aware of the negative stuff on the internet in regards to your company/product -the high pressure sales people, the bait-and-switch, the fact that a lot of the sales people are illegally employed Israelis (Please tell me you're legal, I like you and want you to be safe!) I'm actually glad I didn't do the research beforehand, because I would not have bought the product, and the product is, as mentioned, really good. The whole diamond thing though? C'mon. The diamonds that are cast off as not being jewelry quality are not THAT expensive - and we all know how American women COVET the diamond mystique - hence the "sellability" of that particular line of marketing. Nice, but nothing can possibly justify that cost. Cosmetic surgery is almost less!

All that said - I do really like (love) the product, but the likelihood of continuing with it is pretty much nil, due to the exorbitant cost. I don't want to waste anyone's time coming in for the facial, because I simply cannot afford ANY of the products at full price, and really don't want or need the awkwardness of having to assert that. THAT said - I think you are doing a great job (trust me - if you sold ME, you can sell anyone!), and if I can give any positive feedback to your management I would be happy to do so.

Alberto, thank you for being a fun guy and for opening my eyes (no pun intended) to the fact that I am WORTH good skin care. I'm glad our paths crossed. I wish you much success.
    Forever flawlessly yours,
    Donna

    1. Yes vitamin C serum is awesome, I make it up myself in small fresh batches for the best effect, it costs a few dollars each batch. See Bulk Actives for recipes (straight ascorbic acid on your skin is too harsh) and ingredients - you can then pay your rent and look awsome ;-)

      https://bulkactives.com/

Alternatively eat your skin beautiful with chicken broth (for the gelatin) and oranges (for the vit C) the combination will increase collagen and hyalaunic acid.

  85. Thank you so much for this blog entry. Today I went into the mall to return something. I got suckered into buying the face gel and got the body scrub for free. The guy was very pushy and I just couldn't say no. He claimed to be there manager and said he would refund me if the product was too strong for my sensitive skin. Once I got home I started reading reviews. I couldn't believe all the bad reviews and I went right back to the mall to return it. The guy who sold me the product was not the manager and the real manager was not going to give me my money back until I told him about the other's guarantee. After an hour of back and forth he finally refunded my money. Apparently I will never have beautiful skin or a boyfriend without their products but at least I'm married and have $75!

    1. I was at a mall in Canada, today and I was sucked in by one of the ladies. I have to say , I have never seen such pushy sales in my life and I will never, because next time I will see this product, I will run away. It took me 30 minutes to get rid of the person and I told her from the first minute that I just bought 3 products from Clinique today,so I am not gonna buy more skin products this month. She did actually opened my bag and looked at the creams,.. so rude!! What was the red flag for me though, was that she kept saying that do you like BMW? I was ,yes, she asked if I google search and find out that people give bad reviews for BMW, does that affect me? I said Yes! And she was, oh no , it shouldn't, I know you don't mean it!! So ,quickly, I realized that they should have bad reviews and I was right. They are liars, she claimed she is from my country of origin which is a moslem country but she couldn't even speak one word!I could tell from her name that,it was a Hebrew name ,I so wanted to tell her that I will tell your prime minister that now he has 1 less jew :) as she just turned to Islam. And there came another red flag :she did lower the price for the peeling gel from $199 to $50 ,after I told her firmly that I will not buy any thing today! She still went to cash and pretended to do the transaction under her name so I can get %70 off!Oh it was like a movie! she said , I have to promise, I will never tell this to any one ,as she has never given such a big discount, so funny. I felt I am getting scammed so bad in a very funny way, so I started laughing at her very hard and I told her that the product she used on my face feels very funny and that was true, my skin was feeling much thinner and more sensitive.I just left that big empty store. I am glad I was not ripped off.

  88. I was drawn in under "duress" yesterday at a NY site for these products. Although I can't say it was a horrible experience, the sales effort really was a treat in terms of an education. I suspect one benefit of not having the money for any such luxuries allowed me to resist the pitch and price. They did get me for $50, it was my way of escaping. Hence, they won in the end. I am somewhat classically conditioned to be polite until some major discomfort or threat. Hence, I went through the machinations. No major discomfort or threat surfaced, so I was along for the ride.
I have to the give the sales woman credit for the hardcore sales skills. I am aware of this kind of sales ecosystem, but have not seen it in action for ages. Years and years ago, I was introduced to such sales as an employment option while job hunting (Cutco, Amway to name two). I was ticked when I showed up for the interviews only to find out they were pyramids schemes etc, A thousand years later, the approach is same...
In real time, without a misstep, the rep started first with a sample presentation which seemed to work as "advertised." Next, when the rep realized, there was no will to purchase at the price points, more on that later, they shifted from "you" to, "would a family member like...", "check out this nail product" and again with a demonstration, "would a.. niece, a mother, a sister, a girl friend, etc."...searching for a hook. As a last resort, "because I like you...and I know you will come back if you try this...I want you as a customer...special price for you $XX.00. I am not being facetious when I say "well done to the sales rep; fearless, agile, and relentless."
I understand why people don't like these aggressive tactics. I can't imagine anyone who would like them. Yet, they work, no? You used to see this in door to door sales, car sales, encyclopedias, and as I mentioned above, Amway/Cutco. I guess they are legitimate forms of pyramids? In this case, I paid for an education. Although, unless this sales rep is making a mint in selling these products, she could make millions on commision in a more legitimate sales environment. Maybe its a work visa thing...
I would not know anything of the cosmetics and skin care world. I am old guy with no concerns about my aging process, caught off guard. I was more concerned about being caught by any of my male coworkers seeing me in the place, and not living it down for being sucked in the door. (The place is next to a frequented DD coffee shop). My survival skills not founded in this type of ambush.
Clearly watch your back with anything that starts out 500% and comes down to 1/10th the price. It just shows how the tactics prey on your ability to process everything thrown at you quickly and without relent. If you got bitten this time around as I did, then just learn from it and don't do it again. For me this was a refresher course to keep out of the spiders web in the first place. $50.00 could be a lot worse. All Sales Final is another red flag, but many of us would not see that after the fact, lulled into a false sense of security somewhere along the way, I suppose. If you had the $$$ to pay their retail, ouch!
I have no idea what the FDA regulations are on such products, but whomever raised the flag in the trail above is a genius for checking. I would never have checked.
One could argue there are many products out there which are sold on brand name alone. So you pay for a name, but this is a special kind of ambush if the product turns out to be unsafe. I would hope at worst they would be harmless snake oil whereby by the only pain was in the wallet.

I am happy to have seen this blog in my efforts to find out the legitamacy of the product. While I feel preyed upon, I got away with a small zap. It could have been worse. Thank you for these postings!!!

    1. I got a big zap. Sorry sorry me. I wish I had had the resistance to their sales pitch. I guess I can take solace that some poor sales people made a tiny bit of money off of me. Thanks for telling the whole story. I am still to ashamed of what they got out of me. In retrospect seemed like date rape. I am 55 years old today. Sigh. Guess it is hard to learn.

  89. I made the mistake of not ignoring a sales girl outside of a store called "Forever Flawless" at the local mall (yes, it's a flipping store in San Antonio, TX) . When I quickly stopped and explained I was in a hurry, she said, "What do you wash your face with"? I was thinking I'd taken some time on my appearance and that she was giving me a compliment, so I say, "Thank you, but your skin is clearer than mine, I use "Pure & Simple" face wash and lotion. Before I could say more, she said "I have a free sample for you darling"...I thought the place was a perfume store, because like everywhere else in the mall, it made my sinuses flare up and gave me an instant headache due to the strong perfume stench. I explained again that I was short on time, and as I waited at the store entrance for my free sample, the gentleman sales clerk told me to follow her, so she sat me down at a fancy table with a mirror. She then proceeded to tell me that my pores were open (another way of saying my skin looked like shit?). I once again said, I really don't have much time....what time do the stores close? She answered 10pm, and I new it was already around 9:30, but before I knew it she was scrubbing my free sample onto the inside my arm, explaining that their skin exfoliant uses pure diamonds. When I asked if they were conflict-free diamonds, she replies "conflict what?" (she and the male sales clerk had exotic accents and were not locals)....when I explained to her what this meant, she brought over another clerk (or manager?), who also said "conflict-free?" and looked me straight in the eye and also had no clue as to what I was talking about. So finally I said, "have you seen that movie with Leonardo diCaprio", and the guy says "Titanic?" and I said "no, the other one", to which he replied "Blood Diamonds"? Yes, I said..."that's the movie, and it's based on a true story...so nobody died, was enslaved, or endured unfair labor practices to mine the diamonds for your products?" And he says, "No...nobody died", and smiled. Then the sales gal is still scrubbing away at my arm, which by now feels pretty raw. She then looks at me and says, "Did you bath today?", and I said yes, and she said "Are you sure"? I had no answer, in disbelief that someone trying to sell you something would ask such a thing...she showed me all of the "dry skin" she sloughed off of me....but it was probably just normal skin that the diamonds cut off! Anyway, she then then puts the right product in my hands, telling me I need to use it everyday, and I said, "wait a minute, how much is this"? When she said $145 I said that's way out of my budget, and I really have to go, I just came in for the free sample - can I have it now? She said, "It's on your arm". Then she says, "Come with me, darling", and takes me into a back room and tried to strike a deal saying, "she wants to deal with me personally and to keep me as a return customer", and it sounded like I would have ended up getting a discount on the product itself if I bought this and that...I quickly said no, and that I'm on a budget and just stopped in for the free sample and have to shop for my niece before the stores close. She was very cold, and I did tell her she was a good sales person, but I sort of lied, because what sales person tells you that you need to bathe? Yikes!

Whether you buy a diamond or put it on your skin (diamonds and skin don't really mix, especially those of us with sensitive skin), do your research and avoid companies that don't tell you up front that they're diamonds are conflict-free. My arm burns horribly and I can't seem to wash off the diamond burn!

  91. I had a really similar experience a couple months ago! The saleswoman after demonstrating asked when was the last time you took a shower? then said she's just joking it's like that for everyone because it removes dead skin. I don't remember what product it was for but I am pretty sure she's the same person I ran into today, so I looked the product up. I thought it was weird the first time because she was able to change the price as she wanted... I know she's middle eastern from the first chat but forget where exactly. Does anyone have a link that documents how this company is hiring these people by commission only and illegally?? The girl from today was standing outside this spa/salon (not sure) and demonstrated inside the store so it seemed legitimate...

She said why what happened i told her that their product is fake and she asked me who told me that i told her that it is all over the internet i said i been researching last night and im very unhappy about that i told her that i would not be back if this product was real but after all the reviews i read online and i found out that this is just a scam its not worth 375 dollars of my money i said i need my money back!!! 93. Stoneridge Mall, Pleasanton, CA; drawn in by a Jewish young man...very charming, a fast talker, very insistent. $500 for one product, four free products thrown in. Same story as others have told i.e., did you shower today? I'm 70 years old with great skin for my age. I'm sick about spending $500 on their stuff...reviews on this blog have been positive and negative re. their products but I don't even want to try them...I just want my money back and will do my best to make that happen. I feel sick and ashamed that I got sucked in.

    1. Love your sense of humor. The salesman was pushy and I was I firm on my "NO". Anyway, I bought the face peel for $60 plus taxes. After I read all the reviews, I was very nervous and lost sleep over it. I guess I could use it on my arm or foot instead. I did call the mall and dialed for the store's number (FYI - the phone number was not on the receipt or on the internet). I basically told the guy that they are scam artist and sell products that do not work.

  95. I too came under the spell of nice Israeli gentleman at Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton. Spent WAY MORE than I intended to. Maybe because he was dressed like a kitten, for Halloween? I like the products but I will be taking a wide wide curve around that store next time. The instructions he emailed me for my very sensitive skin made it seem realistic that the products I bought will indeed last about a year (perhaps not the daily moisturizer), so I'm not going to beat myself up about the $$$. Ridiculously excessive packaging. No bad reactions for my skin.

  96. I purchased 4 products while on a business trip to Las Vegas about 6 months ago. I use them regularly and have been very happy with the results. I will definitely purchase more in the future.

  98. After reading all these comments, I am so proud of myself for resisting the hard-sell tactics from the Israeli salesman in the new store in my mall. Usually I am a sucker and have a very hard time saying no. I fell for the introduction into the store and let the salesman put a sample of the eye serum on my eyes, but it didn't take me long to decide I didn't like him, and I wasn't impressed by the product once I saw the ingredients list. Anything with water and glycerin as the first two ingredients is basic and cheap to me. So I almost laughed when he told me $229 for the eye serum. Then he tried to throw in the free eye cream, even though I'd already told him the ingredients were no good. After that he tried to add in the free facial. I told him I don't spend that much on any product without researching it first. I told him he could give me a sample to use for a week, and if it worked for me, I'd be back. He gave me some BS about why they don't give samples. At that point I'd been there about 20 minutes and had had enough. I just rolled my eyes and said I had to go. All these stories just confirm what I suspected by the time I got out of there: this is high-pressure sale for junk products. I'm so sorry for everyone who got sucked in. I've had that happen with door-to-door sales several times, and I know how bad it feels to be duped.

  99. Hi. I don't sell anything, so this is just an honest person's advice, and I wanted to say that I started using burdock root for my hormonal acne and it has worked better than anything. It's cheap. I think $5 a bottle on amazon. For $5, it's worth a try! Just thought I'd share.

  101. Add another to the scammed list. University Town Center Mall, La Jolla CA. I can't get a refund, but reported them to management for deceptive and pushy sales tactics. I, like other commenters, felt used and vaguely sleazy after being forced into a sales pitch as I was on my way to Nordstrom. They trapped me in the construction zone where you must walk if you want to get to Nordstrom from that level. We are easy pickings for grifters. As I brooded over it in my car, I realized I felt dirty because I had been scammed. The resulting stomach ache I got was the proverbial 'gut feeling' something is wrong. I'm out about $225 and look forward to hard-core harassing any and all future FF staffers that approach me; including, but not limited to, applying a sample of miracle pepper spray in their lying faces.
