Forever Flawless follow-up

Hey everyone.  Long time no update.  I've been pretty occupied with my sewing endeavors while trying to find a more stable form of employment so I haven't had much time to update this, sorry about that.  Also I've learned that this company is related to another scam-tastic company called "Oro Gold."  Don't buy from them either!!!

I've noticed that my review on those horrible Forever Flawless (shitty) diamond infused beauty treatments have been receiving a lot of hits over the past several months.  To be honest, I'm genuinely surprised that this company is still in business scamming people!  I thought for sure their Dollar Store quality cosmetics would've put them out of business by now.  Because of all the comments I've received about people finding my review which prevented them from falling for the Forever Flawless scam, I feel the need to do a follow up on why these products lie their asses off.

"You want HOW much for this!?  $2,500!?  ARE YOU CRAZY!?!?"

Science

  • Diamonds

Firstly, they claim that the diamond powder in these products will help fight against the aging process.  Diamonds do not have that kind of power!  Diamonds are a solid carbon based mineral that can exfoliate the skin at best when ground up into a fine powder.  In addition to that, the most it'll do is make your skin shine just like what some Japanese company came out with sometime in 2006.  The lotion had a lot of vitamins and minerals in it and had about .25 carat of diamond in it.  This lotion only made your skin luminescent because of the diamond powder but other than that, it was a normal body butter like what you can buy at Victoria's Secret for $15/jar.

Diamond powder doesn't exfoliate your skin any better than the crystals in a $40 microdermabrasion kit would.  If you want to throw your money away by overpaying for it just because they're diamonds you'll wash down your sink, go right on ahead but it is a huge waste.  If you want an illuminating moisturizing body cream that feels great, give Victoria's Secret a try.  The average price for the VS stuff is about $14 so you can't really go wrong (especially if you have a $10 off coupon!).

  • Gold

Now this is a touchy subject to some cosmetologists but most studies show that gold does not have any benefit for your skin.  There are a lot of gold infused beauty products out there but they don't work worth a damn.  Your body just simply has no use for any metal but iron!  The only thing gold will do for your skin is give it a glow and make it look pretty because well... gold gives off a golden glow.  Gold will not benefit your skin and if anything, it can hurt it as it does cause an allergic reaction in some people.  All of these companies (and horribly pushy Forever Flawless sales people) cite Queen Cleopatra as being their source for how beneficial it is for the skin.  Everyone knows that Cleopatra is famous for wearing loads of gold but what evidence do they have that the ancient Egyptians used gold in their beauty products?  None.  Really though... just think about it.  Just because she wore a ton of gold doesn't mean that she was having her servants grind it up and put it on her face.

There isn't any evidence, any texts, or any historical records of any kind that say that she did this as part of her beauty regimen.  No one in the ancient world has used this.  Using gold in beauty products is purely a modern creation and is more science fiction rather than science fact.  When I was approached by a pushy Forever Flawless salesman, he tried pushing the whole "Cleopatra used this which is why she stayed so beautiful!" with his thick accent and stinky breath (that dude needed a mint and badly).  The only reason I even fell for the shit is because he lied saying that it'll treat acne.  I ended up being an easy sale since my self-esteem was in the dumps and I spent most of my trip in my hotel room crying about something.  If I had been thinking straight, I would've realized that Mr. Foul Breath was full of crap and used my scientific thinking.

I forgot to add that while this Forever Flawless crap claims to use real 24K gold in it, it most certainly does not.  Yeah, it uses gold but it is colloidal gold!!  That is some dangerous stuff to be dealing with and it even causes Chrysiasis!  That is, with long term usage.  The insane price tag of Forever Flawless is unjustified as colloidal gold is pretty much worth only a penny if that much.

  • Other Ingredients

Straight from the hunk of junk website (which I will not plug since they don't deserve anymore hits), the ingredients inside of their line of cosmetics are as follows:
  • MDI Complex - an advanced active ingredient that control and inhibits the enzymes that degrade and destroy the skin's collagen network.
  • Vitamin A - known for its age-defying properties
  • Vitamin E - known for battling free radicals and for its hydrating and moisturizing properties.
  • Vitamin C - known as a great antioxidant and for its age-defying properties.
  • Licorice Root - known as an effective antioxidant that calms irritated skin and helps reduce the appearance of discoloration.
  • Castor Seed Oil - An emollient known for maintaining soft and supple skin.
  • Sesame Seed Oil - known for its great moisturizing, soothing and emollient qualities
  • Jojoba Oil - known for enhancing skin healing (cell division and growth) within the middle layer of the epidermis. Jojoba Oil helps balance sebum excretion and helps normalize keratin sloughing off from the dermis.
  • Avocado Oil - known for its wonderfully emollient properties for correcting skin disorders and battle premature aging.
All of this is stuff you'll find in any higher end drug store facial cosmetic!  This is not something people should be spending hundreds of dollars on just for one product.

If you're looking for high-end cosmetics that will actually work (and not rob your savings account), I highly recommend buying from brands Estee Lauder and Lancome.  I especially love Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair line because it actually does work.  I was once an Estee Lauder sales girl when I was 18 years old working at an airport's duty free shop and a company representative gave us a presentation on how certain higher end products work.  She explained to us that the Advanced Night Repair line works especially well because of the ingredients they use but what really intrigued me was the science behind the Advanced Night Repair Recovery Concentrate works!

Advanced Night Repair Recovery Concentrate has a special ingredient(s) that consist of deep sea nutrients.  Why is this impressive you may be wondering?  Well, the nutrients that you'll find in the deeper reaches of the ocean are spread throughout currents around the world.  It's very essential to sea life and very beneficial for its ecosystem.  This is a rich current that's basically a "nutrient soup."  This current is mostly made out of phytoplankton and bits of dead animal matter.  This may seem gross to you non-science nerds but this is very cool!  When the sales rep gave us samples of this cosmetic, a single drop immediately took the wrinkles out of a old woman's hands!!  After that, I was pretty much sold although I didn't need the stuff.  At the time, this product cost a whopping $219.  YOOOOW!!!  However, now the product is priced at $95.  My guess for the huge price drop would be because they have a cheaper way of obtaining the ocean nutrients required for this wonderful serum.

In conclusion... the science behind Forever Flawless makes zero sense--this coming from a proud science nerd.  Trust me on this one.  If you want an awesome product that'll moisturize your skin, help fight against aging, and won't cost you $800 (because you're not a fool), check out Estee Lauder and Lancome.  I'm not sure about those of you who live outside of the United States, but for those of you who are Americans, you can find an Estee Lauder and Lancome station inside of every Macy's and Dillards.  Go ahead and give them a shot.  In fact, every few weeks they have some kind of free gift campaign where if you spend a certain amount of money, you'll get a free cosmetic bag and some makeup.  (If for whatever reason you're unable to find these products in your country, I can run a shopping service for a fee to buy them for you.  To inquire, send me an email using the form below.)

If an aggressive Forever Flawless sales person is trying to force you into a sale, just mention my blog and give them a "Fuck you, you con artist" for me!

I also have some new information to add!  Thanks to a well informed reader in my other Forever Flawless post, there's a few links that I recommend everyone to read.

  • Use this website to report any illegal business (such as Forever Flawless).
  • If you're concerned about safe cosmetics, check this out as it's a very good read.  Highly recommended!
  • Most importantly, check this site out.  It's a very informative page about nanomedicine and why diamond powder is dangerous!  It furthers my theory that Forever Flawless lies about what goes into their products and explains to you why using diamond powder will do more harm than good to your body.

A reader has informed me that a TV program in the Netherlands ran a segment exposing the Forever Flawless scam!  These guys are still at it which is appalling.  If you'd like to read it, check it out here.  There is also a video, but you need to understand Dutch.  The link has the English interview though!

  1. Thank you so much for confirming my fears. I was approached in south molton street in London and had product applied to one eye and the exfolient applied to one hand. I was shocked after the hard sell to discover that the cost of each of the three products was £150! I said no way for an unknown product & was then offered all 3 for £150. It seemed somewhat scam like especially as a product called forever flawless featured a heavily made up woman on the flyer. Thankfully decided to do some research on line and will definitely not be purchasing

  2. I feel terrible. A friend an I were out shopping and I had a voucher for a free mini mani from Forever Flawless. I asked my friend if she wanted to come with and possibly get one too, she obliged. I got my mani and then the lady started working my friend over. I have never encountered such aggressive salesmanship before. My friend ended up buying almost 300 pounds worth of merchandise from her. She really got her by offering her a facial that was listed for 150 quid for free!!! If she purchased some cream. I was in shock the entire time, I wanted to tell my friend not to do it but I didn't want to seem pushy. It was truly overwhelming. I must say once I made clear that I wasn't purchasing anything the lady was not really that nice to me. I found the whole experience to be very appalling. Suffice to say I went over to Keihls and purchased a beautiful night serum for a fraction of the price.

  4. I appreciate the post. My boss got sucked in to buying the $2500 "deal". The sales person actually told her that he would sell her the products at wholesale so she can sell them in the clinic...But then when contacted by me, the guy suddenly vanished...I am still rip roaring pissed off that she got sucked in. I knew it was a scam since I first heard it. I knew for sure when one of my friends got the same "pitch" in NYC. She's a student from the Bronx...she was like, "really dude? Seriously? Do I LOOK LIKE I spend that kind of money on sh*t like that?"

  5. DO NOT BUY! TOTAL SCAM. PRODUCTS NOT WORTH $10. DO NOT FALL FOR THE HARD SELL. TRULY DISGUSTING BUSINESS AND PRODUCT.

  7. ^^^^bought some from mall of la today. I've been researching all day since I've been back but it's been 50/50 well more negative then positive...I'm really thinking about not opening them and returning them. The only thing that concerns me is the long term use. I don't know what to do :(

    1. Another reader mentioned she took it back to the seller for a refund by being very stern about it. Don't open it and return it to get your money back! If they refuse to refund you, make a scene--they don't more people (such as passerbys) to find out about how bad their product really is so they'll refund you. I think you'll be better off buying something from a high-end brand such as Shiseido, Yves Saint Laurent, or Lancome for skincare that really works.

  8. Hadn't been to a mall in a long time - I had forgotten how pushy mall sales people can be. A guy from Forever Flawless caught my eye and he extended his hand with a free sample - long story short (believe me, sitting in that chair as he applied his miracle cream was AGONY - I didn't know how to get outta there!) He pulled all the stops - a little magical machine that showed how my pores were dirty and how my skin was uneven because it was so dirty, etc. I wonder why he didn't take a picture of my "clean diamond skin" with that little microscope camera of his so I could see a difference!?

When he told me the exfoliating cream was $129, I thought no way am I buying that. He proceeded to try to add more items to the package (3 items for $129) - I was still saying no. Then he began to lower the price on all the items he was offering - as low as 92$ for all 3.

He was trying hard to make me buy SOMETHING - at least 1 item. He tried to sell me the exfoliating cream for $42 - I still said no. He finally gave up and I walked out of the store without buying anything.

I KNEW from the moment I walked in to not buy anything ( will admit that I had already spent about $120 on shoes that I DID NEED so I couldn't afford to make another huge purchase!) Now, after having read the blogs, I wonder what would have happened had I NOT bought the shoes before arriving to Forever Flawless?! I shudder to think!

I hope more people read this blog - I got lucky that I knew I wouldn't and really COULDN"T buy this product, but seriously, after reading the info on the blog, how many people are being scammed into buy a product that doesn't work, and in fact, could harm you instead.
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS INFORMATION!! I hope more and more people find you before they part with their hard earned money!!!

  10. I can't believe I got sucked into this while passing by in the mall. Now I'm out $300 and I don't even remember what to do with this stuff. The salespeople are incredibly relentless. And they do a couple of things where you really do see a difference, but usually I am not a sucker for this stuff. Live and learn. Wish I had seen your post first!!

  11. I wish that i saw this post before a pushy sales lady pressured me into buying $100 worth of crap that is making me break out (I have never had acne problems in my life before now). I wish there was a way to return it and get my money back since she sold it under false pretenses that it scrubbed off dead skin and is all natural. I cant believe that malls allow them to be open and running this scam, its disgusting that people make their living this way.

  12. thank you for your post, I feel really sick right now, I spent $350 dollars on this product, their store is located in a reputable shopping area and should have listened to my instinct or done the research first but these guys were very sharp sales men , this won't happen to me again. What a sucker :(

    1. I also spent $350 on the whole line!! Chandler Arizona, his name is Toni and he's in a kiosk at chandler fashion square mall. Promised results and he and his coworker were very pushy! I actually used these products and never saw results, in fact, my skin looked Forever Flawed!!! I am so disgusted and sick to my stomach that I spent so much money on a product that I knew nothing about:-( I trusted them. I was an idiot and should have known it was too good to be true. I went to Ultra to find something to reverse what THIS HORRIBLE PRODUCT did to my face, I've been using the Murad skin care line and my face looks amazing. Thank God for Murad! DONT BUY FOREVER FLAWLESS!!! IT DOEANT WORK! IT WILL MAKE YOUR SKIN LOOK OLDER!!! TRUST ME

  13. Hi Celcia, thanks for this informative blog. It's alarming the way people are getting treated. My husband bought me the 'black range' which is thermal mask, vitamin c booster and serum. A young English man demonstrated it on my face during a facial treatment. What shall i do now??

  14. Thank you. I feel like the fool. I loved what it did to my skin in their chair and charged a purchase that I have no business charging. Two hours later - skin back to normal and a rash broke out on my neck. The receipt says 14 day return policy on unopened products. Mine are unopened. Taking it back in about 2 hours and nervous about having to put up a fight, as I am seeing so many readers on so many threads have had to do. I have no idea why I fell for this hook, line, and sinker. It was the insta-vanish I saw in the chair that did it.

  15. I was walking in the mall when a salesman gave me a sample and pulled me into the shop. He rubbed the peel on my inner arm and I thought it made no difference compared to my other arm. He claimed I could return the product if I wasn't happy. However, he made me feel insecure about my skin by pointing out all its flaws. Another guy tried to sell me 3 things for $180 and when I hesitated, he lowered the price by $20. In general, I don't buy skin care products I've never heard of and I don't make impulse purchases over $100. The second guy gave me a stink eye as I made several excuses and headed for the door. I'm so glad I didn't shell out all that money!

  16. I also got suckered in - I bought the Microdermabrasion for $179. The store opened 9 days ago in a very high end mall. I got bamboozled. I am going to return it tomorrow.

  18. Hi so I bought this product 4 days ago. And only tried the whole process today and my whole face felt like it was burnt. It was very red for a few hours. I took pictures for proof. I had to use ice and aloe Vera for relief. I spent ALOT of money and want to return it because I believe I had an allergic reaction. The receipt says "exchange only". Can you help me? Do you know if I will be able to get a refund?

    1. From other commentators, I recommend going back to the shop you bought it from with your receipt and being FIRM about wanting a refund. Stand your ground and don't take "No" for an answer from them. Do not let them convince you to keep their garbage.

  19. I also got lured into a store in the mall called "Infinite Beauty" which sells Forever Flawless products. Initially I was told that their eye serum and eye cream cost $199 each, then when I said that was too expensive they said I could get both for $199. I still wasn't buying it so this other person took over and he was the consummate salesperson. He added 2 other products and 3 coupons for half-hour facials costing $120 each, so I decided to buy the products. When I got home, I decided to look online to find the $399 prices he had shown me on a website and I discovered all these complaints and reviews saying that the whole thing was a scam, so I went back to the mall to get a refund. They convinced me once again to keep the products and that I could try them for 14 days and if I didn't like them, I could return them in 14 days. It still didn't sit right with me so I went back two days later. When he saw that one of the facial certificates that I had given to my daughter was missing, he said he would only refund my money when he had all three certificates. I actually had my daughter come down to the mall with the certificate before he issued me my refund. What a colossal jerk! I'm so glad I decided to return everything!

  21. Anyone thought about contacting the better business bureau or the Consumer Affairs Division of the Attorney General's office? Some malls have regulations stating that in order to rent a space there, the business has to offer some type of return policy. Might call the mall office to check this out.

  22. I was scammed into buying $1000 of products at the Aria hotel in Las Vegas. I was there for my birthday and the slick guy used that to make me feel like I wasn't aging well and he could help me. What a sucker I was. He got $1000 from me knowing it was my birthday.

  23. Ok, girls, have no fear. I put my pushy salesman right in his proper place. I was happily walking down the sidewalk in down town Laguna beach showing my niece the sites and next thing I know I've been plopped down on a stool and a stranger is applying cream underneath my left eye telling me it would get rid of my huge bags and dark circles. I started to act insulted that he had the audacity to insinuate that I have bags and circles but decided I'd see what bag of tricks he had cause I actually do have bags under my eyes. Well as soon as he applied the eye serum,I could feel it working. He handed me a mirror and asked me what I thought. I told him it was a miracle but that I wasn't going to buy anything, but just in case I decided to, how much did it cost. He showed me on his ipad that it costs $799! I about fell off that stool! I guess about this time he must have seen my beat up old birkenstocks and decided there was no way he could hard sell me, but bless his heart, he said, well, let me at least put the rest of this cream that I squirted out around your other eye. I said"no, I don't want it on there because I want to compare the two eyes since you told me the effects of the cream would last for one week" He was aghast and said I had to put it on or I would look lopsided and surely I didn't want that. But, I laughingly told him that I work at the home depot and nobody gives a darn what I look like. He still wouldn't let up. How on earth could I go around looking like that! So here comes the crowning blow... I said..you know what my dear mom always told me? And he dimly said, what? And I said"if you put a smile on your face, no one will notice! and, I walked right out that door with my lopsided eyes and a big smile on my face. The end

  25. Ok so I have read your blog and all the comments about forever flawless and I'm a little freaked out but also confused. My little story is; we were Christmas shopping a week before Christmas and was caught at the entrance at vivocity mall in Singapore by a sales rep from forever flawless. I agree, their sales technique is pushy but the guy was also fun and knowledgeable. Anyway my mum and dad were with us, visiting from England and mum is always on the look out for anti aging products! The sales rep did his demo on the inside of our arms and half my face with the white diamond collection. Now this is where I get confused by some of your reviewers. I have very sensitive skin so I am wary about what I put it through. The results I saw were incredible with no discomfort to the skin, I felt like I had just had a facial from the most beautiful spa, a product I wanted to buy there and then until I found out the price but I still loved how it made my skin look and feel, even after a week! We didn't buy it but I kept talking about all week and how I was going to go back to buy it. My husband brought the special offer set as a Christmas present for me (the white diamond exfoliates gel and the matching moisturiser usually S$400 but offered at S$188) I used it again Christmas day and saw the same effects and result as I did in the sales rep demo and love it. I feel awful that so many of you here have not experienced what I have which is why I am confused. I know everyone on here is probably going to tell me to stop using the products but all I have seen is good so far. I'll update in a couple of months as you only use the product once a week.
